Died on 17th October 2016
It is possible that this was the last photo of Aisha Nabiddo as she was about to deliver before she eventually died.
After delivery of this baby boy, Aisha died!

AISHA
NABIDDO'S MOTHER TALKS ABOUT HER DAUGHTER
Nabagesera
Proscovia a resident of Kitende B in Kajjansi Town Council talks about the life
of her daughter.
Aisha went to Mityana Modern Secondary School for her
Ordinary Level studies. She then joined Onwards & Upwards Buloba Secondary
School for Advanced Level where she was a School prefect.
She
did not pursue higher studies as the mother did not have the money. She had
been sent to Masaka where her paternal relatives are. However, while there, given
the family connections in Cairo, Aisha was told that there was an opportunity
to work in a Supermarket in Cairo as an Interpreter in English language. So,
Aisha went in 2013.
Aisha's mother all along wanted Aisha to pursue higher studies.
When
time to deliver the child was ripe, the father of the child kept communicating
with Aisha's mother. It only happened that Aisha who had delivered normally
shortly afterwards passed on.
Nabagesera
got the news while on a visit in Gomba district. She was able to get back home at
Kitende. Given that she was alone, she was advised to use a boda boda (commercial motor cyclist) up to her home at Kitende where she met people gathered as they had received the bad news of Aisha's death.
At
the time of her death, Aisha was 22 years old.
The
mother is so grateful to the support by the Cairo connection and also those who
gave hand locally up to the burial of her dear daughter.
Aisha left two siblings, one a boy who has been a Secondary four candidate at Kisubi Mapeera. This boy was notinformed about the death of the sister as it was believed that it would negatively impact on his performance. The problem however is that the boy is finding it hard to believe that actually his sister died. (In the picture above is Paul who was Aisha's brother). Aisha's sister has been a candidate in Primary seven and a boarder. Before the mother knew, some children reached to the school gate and told school children that Aisha had died. This one was able to attend burial in Masaka.
Kiwanuka Kituuka William writes
about Aisha’s mother
I
got to know Aisha's mother in 2004, however, I
learnt that she was the mother of the Aisha who I had seen on the social media
a day after burial, so I was only able to call on the family on a Sunday yet
the burial had been in Masaka on Friday. While they were in Masaka for burial,
I was also attending burial 20 miles Mityana road.
When
I called on the mother, she narrated to me what she could about the daughter.
She also told me that she had not informed the school authorities at Kisubi
Mapera secondary school where Aisha's brother attends for she thought the news
was bound to impact negatively on Nakibinge Leon Paul who is an S. 4 candidate.
On
calling at the Home of Aisha's mother today, Friday evening, the mother told me
that Paul arrived home on Thursday 3rd November and got the news then. I had
actually gone to tell Proscovia (Aisha's mother) that the public was really
sympathetic to her situation and they were praying that the baby grows well.
I
had opportunity to show Nakibinge the video I made of the recording of her
mother saying thank you to all who helped them. I asked the boy (Paul) whether
he had anything to say. The boy by then had seen a number of photo images that
were proof that the sister was really dead. Paul told me he had no energy to
talk. The unfortunate bit is that this boy has also been on treatment (drip) on
and off as he wrote his examinations.
As
indicated above, I got to know Proscovia in 2004 when she was the one cooking
the children's food at Bweya Children's Home. She would come to work on daily
basis and go back to Kitende. She told me the hurdle in getting fees for her
children given her circumstances. And at the time when she thought that Aisha
was about to help her, it is when Aisha passed on.
I
have had to look through some of the Facebook postings Aisha made on her
account: "Aisha Hurdens". The last posting she made on 16th October
was: "Deeply sick".
On
20th March 2016 she wrote: "That moment you think of your lovely mum, yet
she's far, miss you mum and family".
Below
it is just a collection of images to do with Aisha to her last earthly journey.
Continue praying for them.
